Our snowmen and snow-woman

The day after it snowed, the snow was in perfect condition for making a snowman. So, we decided to make 3 of them. One for Chris, one for me and one for Bossy.

Tada! Our snowman family is complete! Boston's has a Sponge Bob hat on. Chris's is decked out in RedSkins attire. Mine is a breasty Luau snow-woman, complete with a grass skirt. We had a lot of fun making them and got lots of laughs from our neighbors. It was a fun way to start my birthday off.

It DOES snow in Georgia!

I'm welcoming in my 29th birthday with SNOW! What a great day! I got off of work early and was able to come home to prepare to play in our winter wonderland.

After our many hours of fun in the snow, we finally turned inside for a random dinner of gigantic cookies, soup and mussels. Yes, random but yummy and perfection still the same.

Happy Birthday to Michelle

Happy Birthday Shell! We celebrated Michelle's happy birthday at Longhorn Steakhouse. Yum. Chocolate Stampede will satisfy any PMSing woman's craving for chocolate. It's a chocolate muse cake straight from the gods. Chris and I already want to go back to re-entertain our taste buds. Maybe tomorrow....

Just a tease...

I bought Boston snow boots in preparation for the "arctic blast" that was going to hit us. As you can see from the pictures, the weatherman got us all excited for a light dusting. At least Chris didn't have to go into work until noon today.

This was a fun way to spend my last weekday before I start my new full time job. I will rejoin the rest of the full-time workers on Monday, January 11th. My part-time job just wasn't cutting it. It was fun while it lasted, and I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with Boston. I am very lucky that I had the opportunity to be a part-time stay at home mommy.

After Boston opened his presents from Santa, we went to my parents house for round 2 of Christmas.

I didn't want to cook on Christmas Eve. So, we went to our favorite Asian fusion restaurant for dinner and had yummy basil rolls and seafood delight!

Then we went home to open ornaments and Christmas PJ's.

Then Boston went to bed, and Santa came to our house! Stinky was thrilled.

Christmas Morning! Oh,the joy of opening presents that Santa magically placed under the tree.

Those who know me well are aware of my impulsive need to decorate to fit the holiday season. (whichever holiday it happens to be) Boston has mimicked my behavior, as children often do. Although I started decorating BEFORE Thanksgiving, Boston is still asking me when we can decorate more. He gets such a kick out of it that I keep buying additional ornaments to add to my already decorated tree. I just can't say NO to him. (Well, at least in this case anyway)

In my efforts to keep my power bill at a relatively respectable level during the holiday season, I refrained from decorating the outside of my house this year. (with the exception of a few inflatables) So, here's the inside, since the outside is nothing to brag about this year.
