Recapping the Spring

Chris and I at Piedmont Park. The weather has been so perfect this spring. We've taken full advantage of the beautiful weather before the typical Georgia heat and sticky humidity sets in.

Our cherry trees were gorgeous this spring. We were just a few days late with taking this picture. Wish we would have captured their full beauty while they were at full bloom. Next year...

Happy Birthday to me. Chris took me out for my favorite - SUSHI! After our yummy dinner we checked into the Marriott in Atlanta where we enjoyed our "romance package".

Our room package included brunch. Keith, Shannon, Dash and Thiggy joined us. Thanks guys for coming out and helping me celebrate my last birthday in my twenties. Next year, it'll be my big 3-0! Yikes!

Boston's 1st hike up Stone Mountain

We bought a season pass to Stone Mtn Park and took Boston for his 1st hike up the mountain. He was so excited! He wanted to climb up every little boulder on the way up. He kept repeating the words, "hike, hike, hike". It was quite entertaining.
Chris and I were expecting to have to carry him up some of the way, but that little ball of energy hiked to the top of that mountain all by himself!! We were so proud.
After our mountain adventure, we went to the playground and then to the lake where we fed the ducks. It was a fun and exhausting day. Bos fell asleep on the way home. Poor little man was tuckered out!

Chris's family came over to play yard games and enjoy an Easter feast. We all had a great time together. Happy Easter!!
